A lot like Disneyland

The New York Times reports on a broughaha brewing in Murfreesboro, Tennesee. Seems there’s a wealth of opposition from the mostly conservative Christian community to a proposed million-visitor-a-year theme park called Bible Land USA.

“Ronen Paldi, the chief executive officer of the proposed park who is also a tour operator who organizes pilgrimages to the Holy Land, said he wanted Americans who were afraid to travel to the Middle East...to be able to visualize scenes from the Bible. Comparing the park to Disneyland, he said it would be a tremendous benefit to the area.”

That’s right, a lot like Disneyland.

Hi Michael -- This is your old friend, Brenda, connecting! You look a lot like you did when you were 20 at Ind. Univ. I have survived a lot of the ravages of old age also. Would like to hear from you, and any info on Bill and Mark. What a surprize to see you and read some of your blogs! I have lived in Seattle for almost 20 years, and love it. Am currently a pet sitter - finally got out of health care. Hope to hear from you! I have plenty of funny memories! Email: brendakrowan@yahoo.com
