I’m a Boomer crusader who has been trying to make things better for more than 50 years now. I’ve lived in cities large and small on both coasts and in between, and am currently happily ensconced in the bucolic Lowcountry. I make my living in the publishing world. The internet makes it possible for me to put food on the table. Swimming, cooking, gardening and traveling are some of my favorite things to do.

Man! That's scary. I think I would reluctantly pay my property taxes and grow a huge garden in my back yard...and cash all of my checks without having a bank account. Sheesh.
